Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 6 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the maker of Partydice ("we", "us") about the Partydice application and this website (together, the "app"). By installing, opening or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What the app is
Partydice is a collection of party games played by a group of people sharing one device. It is offered free of charge, as it is, for personal and non-commercial entertainment.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app; copy, modify or create derivative works from it; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law; remove or alter any notice of ownership; or use it in any way that breaks the law of the place you are in.
3. What you type in
The app asks for nothing about you. Anything that appears in it — the names of the people playing, an age, a mark against a name, a message written into a game — is typed in by whoever is holding the device, of their own accord, and is stored on that device.
You are responsible for what you and the people around you type in. Do not enter another person's information without their agreement, and do not enter anything you would not want kept on that device. We do not receive it, we cannot read it, and we cannot recover it if the device is lost or the app is uninstalled.
4. Recordings
The app can film what is on the screen, and the room in front of the camera, while a round is played. A recording is written to a private folder belonging to the app on your device and goes nowhere else unless you choose to share it.
Filming people is your responsibility. It is up to you to have the agreement of everyone who appears in or can be heard in a recording, and to follow whatever the law where you are says about recording people. What you do with a recording after you share it is likewise yours.
5. Age
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and at least 13 years old, to use the app. Some games declare a minimum age for the whole table; where a game does, the app says so before it starts, and it is for the adults present to decide what is suitable. We do not verify anybody's age and cannot.
6. Content of the games
Some games hand out prompts, questions and dares. They are written for entertainment. They are not advice of any kind, and nothing in the app should be treated as an instruction to do something unsafe, unlawful or unwelcome. What a group actually does when playing is the group's own decision and the group's own responsibility.
7. Files fetched over the internet
Some games keep their pictures or texts on our website instead of in the download, and fetch them when the game starts. The app tells you when a game needs a connection. We may change or remove those files at any time, and a game that depends on them may stop working when we do.
8. Advertising and third parties
The app may display advertising, and may use services operated by other companies — an app store, a hosting provider, an advertising network. Those services are run by those companies under their own terms and their own privacy policies, not ours. We do not control what an advertisement says, what it links to, or what the company serving it collects, and we are not responsible for any of it. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser.
9. Availability
We may change the app, add or remove games, or stop offering it altogether, at any time and without notice. We do not promise that the app will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any particular device or version of a system.
10. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; where that is so, the exclusions above apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, of profit, of goodwill, or of anything else, arising out of or connected with your use of the app — including anything that happens between the people playing it, anything recorded with it, and anything an advertisement or other third party does.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free app is nothing, or the smallest amount the applicable law allows.
12. Indemnity
You agree to hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, brought by anyone else and arising out of your use of the app, what you or your group entered into it or recorded with it, or your breach of these terms.
13. Ownership
The app, its name, its artwork and its code belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us, and remain ours. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and the current version is always the one on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the version then in force.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of Brazil have jurisdiction — except where the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim where you live, which these terms do not take away.
